I Am Intentional

Despite being successful in my previous career, I wasn't happy. I hired a coach and the powerful principles I learned transformed my life.

I found my calling and joined an exclusive apprenticeship, where I was trained as an executive performance coach. The work I do is sacred. It enabled me to change my own narratives that were holding me back and equipped me with the powerful principles that create success and fulfillment. Now, I get to join professionals in their journey. Together we rewrite the stories that have been holding them back from the life, career, and relationships they desire.

I convert fear into excitement, caution into wisdom, problems into projects, and so much more.

While many high performers strive for success and advancement in their careers, the pursuit of meaning and joy can take a backseat. Many, including myself, have sacrificed our authentic selves, sidelined our aspirations or put relationships on hold, in pursuit of external validation.

I don’t believe you have to sacrifice one for the other. Coaching, offers the opportunity to explore what you’re capable of, embrace failure as experience, and relate to fear with excitement and wonder. It is the conduit for meaningful reinvention and a tool to ensure you define what matters most and strategically expand what’s possible.

This work deeply resonates with high performers, who know how to get things done but are at a cross roads, stuck or seeking deeper alignment and authenticity in their life.

I’m not just about my career though. I’ve developed many interests in my 50-years on this planet. Whether it's riding a motorcycle or jumping out of a plane I enjoy adventure and see risk as an opportunity to test my beliefs and live fully.

Our beliefs shape our experience.

One of my favorite adventures was whitewater rafting down the Zambezi River, in Zimbabwe.

Our team battled the rapids, and at points got into the water to float down parts of the river. If you can imagine, we even watched crocodiles sunbathe on certain shores. Early in the trip a woman on our team started ‘freaking out’ with the reality of where we were and the uncertainties it presented.

Our guide casually said, “Don't worry. The crocodiles in this river are all vegetarians.” I remember her asking me, “Do you think that’s true?”

I shrugged, “He would know.”

She calmed down quite a bit and at the end of our trip, she turned to me again, somewhat randomly asking, “How does he know they’re all vegetarians?” What we believe will impact our experience and drive our performance. It’s essential to ask ourselves if those beliefs are valuable or if they are sabotage our efforts.
